Anthony Lamattina and Craig Chille were among several FDNY
members who participated in a charity softball game against
Hollywood celebrities to benefit the Rainbows Hope Foundation.
Lamattina was interviewed in the article and the caption to
the picture above read: "Howard Stern's Jackie The Jokeman
Martling runs bases as Firefighter Craig Chille trys to tag
him during a charity softball game on Staten Island."
Ladder 87's Lt. Smith and Firefighter Michael Atheras are
pictured above at the scene of what many thought to be a terrorist
attack at the Staten Island Mall. Picture was featured on
cover of July 17, 2003 Staten Island Advance and caption read
as follows: "Firefighters survey the sealed-off Sears
wing at the Staten Island Mall for chemical agents after shoppers
and employees were evacuated."
FF Mike Daly appears in the Oct 2003 Fire Dept newsletter ‘Health
Connections’ receiving a flu shot vaccination during a
live exercise as part of a terrorism preparedness program.
FF Anthony Lamattina is featured on the cover of the Sept 2003
Firefighters Magazine and in the NY Daily News during a fire
in the New Dorp area of Staten Island.

Sergeant Paul Sweeney dedicate flag they took with them to Afghanistan
and Iraq to our firehouse. Article was featured in Staten Island
Advance August 10, 2003 and in the WNYF 3rd/2003. Paul Sweeney
was killed in the line of duty just 2 months later.
